Client Gift Ideas for this Holiday Season
By Rachel Clark, Niki Clark Marketing
'Tis (almost) the season to show your clients some love! Finding the perfect gift is a great way to say “thank you” and keep those relationships strong heading into the new year. But let's be real—coming up with the right gift can feel tricky, especially for those clients who seem to have it all. No worries, though! We've got you covered with a curated list of thoughtful and unique gift ideas that’ll make your clients feel appreciated this holiday season.
Some of the gift ideas are better for in-person events, however most are suitable for shipping or delivery.
Sips ‘n’ Snacks
For those clients who consider themselves a gourmand, there’s nothing quite like a gift that tantalizes the taste buds. Whether you’re shopping for a foodie, a wine connoisseur, or someone who simply enjoys relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee, you can’t go wrong with something yummy. From custom charcuterie boards, luxurious olive oil sets, personalized drinkware, and handcrafted chocolates that make the holidays feel even sweeter, these gifts are sure to delight.
Bonus points if you pair any of these with a BarkBox subscription for their furry companions. They like snacks too!
Custom Charcuterie & Cheese Board
The charcuterie board fad is here to stay, at least for now. You can find options for custom engraved boards here.
Take the charcuterie board one step further. Boarderie is awesome because it lets you customize the selection of meats and cheeses for your board!
Cheese boards are versatile, appealing to a range of tastes, making it perfect for any occasion. We really like this one from Crate & Barrel. It’s simple but so pretty! It also comes in marble which is lovely.
For a more budget friendly option, this one from Amazon is great AND it has a discreet drawer where the knives go.
Olive oils/vinegars
If you watch people cook on social media (I know it’s not just me), then you’ve probably seen Graza olive oil. This set comes with Graza’s unique Drizzle & Sizzle olive oils, plus a customizable card, all wrapped up in a “ridiculously cute gift box.”
Another option is this set from Lucy’s Market. It comes with 4 different oils in pretty bottles – we all love pretty packaging.
Tea & coffee
I don’t know many people who don’t like coffee or tea in some form, so this can be your “safe bet” option.
Tea Forte has several variety boxes to choose from, and you can even create your own collection.
This award winning box from Bean Box offers expertly curated coffees from around the world. Bean Box also offers subscription packages if you want to give a gift that keeps giving.
If you aren’t sure what kind of coffee or tea your client might like, but you know they enjoy a tasty cuppa, consider one of the gadgets on this list. They have some great options for grinders, frothers, and more.
As avid caffeine enthusiasts, we have our eye on this Nespresso VertuoPlus.
Another fun option for the coffee or tea drinker is this mug warmer. It’s wireless, so no clutter, AND it charges your phone!
For something a little more modern, consider this Smart Mug by Ember. It not only keeps your drink warm, this mug allows you to set an exact drinking temperature, so your coffee is never too hot, or too cold. It then maintains your chosen temperature for up to 1.5 hours. How cool (or hot) is that!
Artisanal Chocolates & Gourmet Snacks
*insert Forrest Gump Joke here*
My mouth was watering just looking at this beautiful set from Norman Love Confections.
These are almost too pretty to eat - Christopher Elbow Chocolates Signature Collection.
The Chocolate Season goes above your standard gift box. You can customize a gift box full of delicious sweets and savory snacks. They’ll even let you customize a chocolate box in your preferred color (hello, branding!)
Olive & Cocoa crafts beautiful sets in hand crafted wooden crates or reusable canvas and burlap tote bags. The snack sets have a range of tasty treats from salsa and pesto, to cookies and chocolate covered pretzels. YUM!
Whiskey & Wine Sets
A nice glass of whiskey after a long day is a great way to unwind. People can be pretty picky about their whiskey, though. So unless you know what distillery your client favors, I would opt for whiskey accessories. Like this frickin awesome Personalized Whiskey Barrel Aging Kit! It doesn’t matter what type of whiskey your recipient prefers, they can age it to utter perfection with this wooden barrel, and when it’s ready, they can sip it with the included crystal footed glasses. Oh, and the personalization is FREE.
For a more traditional take, this beautifully presented crystal and stone set from Blarney Wooden Mills would make an excellent addition to a home bar.
Whiskey isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some of your clients might be more the wine-down type.
This wine set comes in a customizable leather case and includes everything necessary to open and pour a bottle of wine like a pro.
Another option is from Blueberry Ink – a custom debossed wooden box set with 9 metal vino accessories.
Firstleaf offers wine bundles in 3, 6, or 12 bottle bundles or you can chat with one of their experts to choose the perfect bottle.
Don’t feel limited to a water bottle – these companies offer wine tumblers, can insulators, coffee mugs, and more!
Techy Tools
If you have a gadget enthusiast on your list (which is basically everyone with a cellphone… so, everyone) these gifts are always a hit. The great thing about techy gifts is that they are functional and practical while still being entertaining and enjoyable, not to mention portable!
Power banks
Power banks are big in the branded-gift sphere, and there’s a reason for that. They are useful. Look for one that can charge multiple devices at once or has an immense battery capacity to set your gift apart. This list has broken down the specs of several popular power banks. While this might not be the best standalone gift, adding a powerbank to a gift bag or basket can make your gift more memorable.
Speakers, Buds, and Headphones
Music can liven up any occasion and these items are a way to bring the music wherever you go.
Branded bluetooth speakers, like these, are a great way to stay top of mind with your clients. For clients who are impressed with the latest technology, consider opting for speakers like this LED lightshow speaker from JBL or this ultra-portable speaker from Bose.
In this day and age, on-the-go technology is ubiquitous. Airpods or the Beams from JBL are another way to avoid the ol’ boombox-on-the-shoulder look.
Apple has reinvented the AirPod with the new AirPods Max. Headphones. They’re headphones. But they’re pretty and sleek, and for someone who likes to keep up with the latest tech trends, they might be a great alternative to those totally out-of-date earbuds.
For those that prefer the headphone feel and stay on-the-go in high-traffic places, these noise canceling headphones from Sony offer industry leading technology and come in 3 sleek colors.
E-Readers & Tablets
For the bookworm on your list, consider an eReader like an Amazon Kindle or Fire Tablet. Both options are lightweight and portable, the differences are their screen and overall functionality. The Kindle is strictly an eReader - the screen uses black and white E Ink and is designed for reading books, magazines, and comics, and for listening to audiobooks. The Fire Tablet is technically not an eReader, it’s, well it’s a tablet. However, since it’s an Amazon device, you can use it in much the same way and have access to Amazon’s immense library. The Fire tablet also allows you to download games and other apps, making it a more multi-use option.
Either one makes a great gift – consider including an Amazon gift card so their first book is on you!

Self Care & Relaxation
Give the gift of the “unwind” this holiday season. With subscriptions like Masterclass or Audible, there’s always something to learn or enjoy during downtime. Or for those who prefer a little pampering, think luxurious bath sets or spa packages. Either way, giving a gift that allows someone to take care of themselves with a little indulgence will surely be appreciated.
“Give the gift that helps them grow” with Masterclass. Masterclass offers classes in over 200 subjects designed to be accessible to all levels. This can be an excellent way to show your clients you are listening to them. A card that reads“I remember you saying you wanted to learn how to cook” or “you mentioned you’ve been interested in developing your leadership skills” will surely make your client feel like you care about them.
Another subscription that makes a great gift is Audible. Audible can be used on smartphones, tablets, eReaders, and more, so this gift can go anywhere it’s needed. You can choose from 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions to gift and new users will get two free audiobooks when they sign up.
Everyone likes to be pampered from time to time, but not everyone is able to spend a day at the spa. So, bring the spa to them. Gift sets like this one from Spoonful of Comfort bring all the zen of the spa right to their home! It even includes fuzzy socks and a scented candle. For a more affordable, but very pretty package, consider this homemade set that includes epsom salts, a bath bomb, soy candle and matchbox, lip balm, body butter, soap, coconut oil, a healing crystal, agate slice, body oil or spray, and a personalized gift message. Note: For clients that do find the time for a spa day, a gift certificate to their local relaxation hub will surely be well-received.
Looking for a way to give a lot without handpicking each item? Consider a subscription box like FabFitFun or GQ. These boxes contain hundreds of dollars worth of curated items – clothing, toiletries, accessories, cookware, travel gear and more – at a fraction of the cost. You can gift one box, or a whole year’s subscription.
Meaningful and Memorable
It can be hard to shop for people who seem to have it all. Consider opting for a gift with a lasting impact to show your client(s) you genuinely care for them.
Help your clients stay on track in the new year with a budget planner. Erin Condren offers a wide variety of sizes and styles for planners, as well as matching accessories.
For your clients who like to give back, consider making a charitable donation to a cause they are passionate about in their name. Or for a fun, thoughtful gift for your animal-loving clients, adopt or track an animal for your client in their name. Fahlo is a great and affordable option that allows an individual to track an animal as it moves through its habitat. Fahlo partners with nonprofits and conservation organizations to protect our planet’s at-risk species. You can choose an animal for your gift or opt for a gift card so that your client can choose their own. You can also symbolically adopt an animal in their name through the World Wildlife Fund. They offer several adoption packages and have dozens of animals to choose from and 85% of profits is directed to worldwide conservation efforts.
Honorable Mention
While I didn’t pick specific items from these sites, Bespoke Post and Uncommon Goods have beautiful and unique gift options!
